Information for Presenters
Remote Oral Presentations
The organizing committee has designed the system so that it:- offers the possibility of both pre-recorded presentations as well as on-line talks
- is organized with a flexible schedule so that people with different time zones can attend at much as possible
- offers a way to emulate human interaction so that people can talk to each other
- allows switching speakers
- allows "hand raising" for asking questions as well as posting questions in text form
- an off-line presentation published on the web in advance (text, slides, video), and
- discussed in an on-line session where questions to authors will be given by participants.
Recommendations for Participants
At the Conference start:- Log in to the virtual conference hall (you will receive/have received an invitation e-mail). You will find links to all services and information connected with the conference materials and discussions.
- Log in to the post-discussion chat in Discord (the first-time invitation link is at the conference hall page). It is recommended to "claim" your account, i.e. to enter and verify your e-mail address with the account.
- Check the offline session materials (presentations, videos, ...) as they are published during the conference. Put any questions for the ONLINE discussion into the respective sli.do question list (referred from the Session page). Start each question the respective Paper ID, e.g. #1099 - my question is?.
Recommendations for Authors

- Please, log in the ZOOM session at least 5 minutes before the session starts. Set your ZOOM name to include your Paper ID, e.g. #1099 John Smith.
- You may check sli.do of the session for questions to your paper.
- After the Discussion, you may check Discord for questions to your paper.
Recommendations for Session Chairs
- Log in to the virtual conference hall (you will receive/have received an invitation e-mail). You will find links to all services and information connected with the conference materials and discussions.
- Please, check in advance the program of your session and the off-line questions gathered for the sessions in Sli.do. Be ready in the ZOOM session at least 5 minutes before the session starts.
- You will have at your disposal one OC member to help you with possible problems (technical matters, question management, etc.).
- Your task is to start the session on time and supervise the questions and discussion. Try to assure equal interests in the papers and authors involved. Have the Sli.do link of your session ready - the questions can appear there during the session. Flash 2-minute introductions of the papers may be a good option, if time permits. The length of the discussion session is flexible, but should not be longer than 60 minutes. After that the discussion should move to the off-line chat (Discord).
